Taesung S&I made a BIM based design from existing 2D based design. Then we checked the optimum equipment capacity to install the elements of three Bridges and compared it with 2D based design. Also DMU about the typical Pier is performed and compared with 2D based reinforcement drawings. The purposes of this project are as follows;

-  Proper Estimation of Equipment Capacity for installation.

-  Review of 3D model objects and processes linkages

-  Review of Safety facilities

-  DMU (Digital Mock-Up) about a typical Pier.

-  Comparing BIM with 2D based design

-  Crash Detective between Structures

3D BIM’s information model was used to verify the construction sequence of bridges. And, proper equipment capacity and position were derived with 3D equipment simulation considering the processes linkages.

Also Taesung S&I made 3D BIM of the whole structures. Especially, the DMU for one lot of concrete pier was performed by 3D reinforcement modeling program. Exact amount of reinforcement and detailed shape were reviewed.
